Hair and Makeup for my two friends..

Jacky is a Highschool BFF. This is the second time she asked me to do her makeup. Im actually glad to see her because we havent seen each other for a long time. Thank so much to Facebook, we still check each others updates and chat once in awhile.

Jack has deep set eyes so I just smudge a brown eyeliner for a soft effect. For eyeshadow base I used a neutral tan color shadow all over the lids, almost the same shade as her skin tone. vanilla at brow bone and espresso for her crease, all from Mac. Same brown shade at her lash line.

Mascarra from Maybelline and I used a natural looking lashes.

Blush: Bodyshop mink (pink tone) and a brown shade for contouring.

Foundation : Laura mercier. Powder: Laura Mercier translucent powder.Lipstick"Pink Noveu from Mac

For her hair, I used Revlon Hot rollers before I made a loose soft updo.

I have known Rachel since she was 18 years old! 12 years ago she will tag along her Dad in Cinderella where I work as a buyer. After a year or two, she was the one doing the sales call for her dad.

We became friends ever since. She is now AVP of Megaworld Sales Dept. and we are still Bffs. Of course, we hardly see each other but whenever we can find time, we hang out.

I used Airbrush makeup and curled her hair using 1-1/2 inch barrel of curling iron. Blush and lipstick all from Mac.

Another wonderful Prenup, Hair & Makeup by Ochie laraya

I used airbrush makeup (Graftobian ) and for her I used hot rollers.

I met Chini thru my other bride Liberty. We met with her mother and we discussed what look she wanta for her prenup as well as her wedding day.  Chini is the type who wears powder and gloss and thats it!

So I wanted to give her a fresh natural look for her prenup. Just give her a flawless skin and enhance her features. I think her chinita eyes is her best feature, so just accentuate it and give it a lift.

Actaully she is wearing the hair piece I used on my wedding day! Now her hair is a bit coarse and Im sure by the time she reached their location, it will go back to straight  ( I did not go with her on location ) so to preserve the curls, I used bobby pins and pinned it down. Since it turned out looking great, she opted to retain the hairstyle for some of the shots before she loosend the pink. Happy accident indeed!!

My recent Fashion shoot with JR Salas & Janna Roque

Last Wednesday I had the pleasure of working with JR and Janna. It was fun & Photography make up is my favorite. JR was going for 2 looks, Punk rock & a sweet day make up. Of course, in photo shoots, you start with the light make up first & you just add up as you go in to the darker heavier application & use of colors.

I used a lilac & purple eye color for the sweet day make up because Janna looks really good in those colors ( I know, I worked with her several times ) and it brings out the color of her eyes, which is hazel brown.

For Photo shoots, MUA prefers matte colors. In my case, I used a little sheen for the base ( iris from mac) but applied a white creamy base to tone down the sheen, but its still there if you look closer. I did'nt do heavy contouring & I used a pink Mac lipstick with a purple tint ( purple rite )

For the punk look, I just added more blue & purple ( odd couple ) & lots of
mascara & black gel liner, all from MAC.

Lipstick from Sue Devitte (brandy ) and OCC gloss, just a little bit, since the gloss is super dark. The look is punk & not goth, so too much OCC vintage gloss will make Janna's lips too dark.

I plan to re-create this look for my Youtube tutorial. Will probably post the link here.

Try out the Day look, its simple, sweet & easy to do. Maybe, save the punk look for going out.

Spring Trend, red lips, defined brows & false eyelashes

I just love Kim's adventurous take on make up trends & Gwen's diversity when it comes to fashion & make up.

These 2 lovely ladies are both trend setters & I love them both. I did Nadine Howell's make up ( for her model card ) a few months back, around March I think & I'm glad that I am right on spot.

One trend this spring is this red lips, full lashes & defined brows (soft & not harsh ) Try this look next time you go clubbing or make this your signature look for spring. Are you a Kim or a Gwen? I'd say both! they are both pretty in this look & they showed us that whether your are blue undertone( Gwen) or yellow-tan undertone (Kim ) you can still rock this look! Stay Beautiful my lovelies!
